What Grow’s recommendations mean
Grow uses agricultural, climate, soil and weather information to help assess farming options.
A recommendation means
“Based on the information available, this may be a suitable option for your conditions.”
It does not mean
“This crop will definitely succeed.”
Conditions on a real farm can differ from available information. Weather changes. Soil varies. Seeds differ. Markets change. Farmers have different resources and goals.
Use Grow’s recommendations as a starting point for your own decision.
Your decisions remain yours
Grow does not make decisions on your behalf. You decide what to plant or raise, when to do it, and what to spend.
For important decisions — especially those involving crop treatments, livestock health or significant financial commitments — consult a qualified local agricultural professional where appropriate.
Information and guidance
Grow provides general agricultural information for learning and planning. It is not a replacement for:
- Professional agronomic advice
- Veterinary advice
- Financial advice
- Legal advice
- A soil test
- Local agricultural extension services
Grow does not provide instructions that require knowledge of your specific farm, crop variety, local regulations or professional assessment.
Information from other sources
Grow uses information from external sources, including agricultural, climate, soil, weather and mapping providers.
We work to present useful and reliable information, but we cannot guarantee that information supplied by external sources will always be complete, accurate or available.
Community content
Community posts are written by users. A user’s opinion or recommendation does not necessarily represent Grow’s views.
You are responsible for what you post. Do not post content that is unlawful, abusive, deliberately misleading or dangerous.
Using Grow responsibly
Do not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Grow
- Interfere with the service
- Deliberately overload the service
- Scrape the service in a way that affects other users
- Use Grow for unlawful activity
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you upload or post.
By posting something publicly on Grow, you give Grow permission to display that content as part of the service.
Availability
Grow is provided as a free service.
We work to keep it available, but weather services, information providers, hosting services and other systems can become unavailable. Grow should not be treated as a guarantee that a particular service or piece of information will always be available.
Responsibility and losses
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Grow is not responsible for losses resulting from decisions made using information or recommendations provided by the platform, including losses involving crops, livestock, income or business opportunities.
Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be removed.
Changes
These terms may change as Grow develops. When they do, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
